Which, besides the hair and the thumb? Honestly curious.

I mean, there's also the fact that a lot of animates movies have goofs up the wazoo and no one cares to complaint.

Actually yes they do. The point of these mistakes is that they are really basic mistakes that a good 3d animator is trained not only to not make but to spot. People have come to expect better from Disney.

And those complains served what purpose?

You point it out, shout that it is inexcusable and that you expected better from Disney, and....? Honestly it just feels like people ran out of things to criticize about the movie. Got tired of commenting on the character designs and lack of inclusion; realized that while it's not the same as the Snow Queen, it does justice to the female characters. Yet gripping about minor errors is not really a productive discussion. Honestly the outrage over the animation is just burying the other discussions and that says a lot about what the so called 'critical thinkers' are really trying to do (find the highest horse and get on it)

Also, which are the other mistakes besides the thumb and the hair?

And yet errors pop up like this in almost every animated movie. Minor errors in films, animated and otherwise, are a thing. Editing and dailies don't catch all of them. Ever. This is a thing that occurs when humans make films.

this. there are plenty of live-action movies that have mistakes too... hell, off the top of my head i can think of two in star wars. but no one makes a big deal out of them because they're just minor things that don't otherwise detract from the enjoyment of the film.
