Inspired by secret 5, have you had any strange, funny, or whacked-out dreams about fandom stuff lately? Share!

I'll start: The other night I had a dream that I can only remember snippets of, which included Tron (the computer program with the glowy circuits) suddenly appearing next to me while I was waiting for an elevator, kissing me, and then straight-up fleeing as though he was afraid I was going to ~~tackleglomp~~ chase after him. The way he sprinted away still makes me laugh when I remember it.

When I was rewatching Soul Eater the other week, I often watched it before bed. Cue dreams in which I was... Watching Soul Eater. And thinking "wait, I don't remember this episode at all!"

It wouldn't be so funny if it hadn't happened several nights in a row.

I had one where I was BBC John and Sherlock's driver. Not a cab driver, but their chauffeur, because apparently they had one in this dream and I was it. I wasn't a chauffeur in an awesome Kato kind of way, though. I just drove them around. I don't even remember what was going on or what they were doing, just that I had to drive them all over.

My dreams are fandom-related more often than not. Most recently, I dreamt that I went on a date with BBC Sherlock and had a nice time, but none of my friends and family would believe me when I said it went well and we were probably going to go out again. Everyone kept insisting that I should be dating John, and clearly the only reason I wasn't was that Sherlock had scared him off in order to have me all to himself. No one seemd to remember that I had dated John once or twice, and we liked each other but had no chemistry and parted amicably.

I had a dream the other day that was like a cross between Pokémon, Mario Kart, and Legend of Zelda (because it involved moving around in discrete dungeons while riding on kart-like...things on a set track). At the end of the had to try to catch Mewtwo (me and two sidekicks, one of which was loosely based on a friend and the other on Birgitte Trahelion from The Wheel of Time) using Pokémon in pairs - I had two Drowzee and for some reason my dream self decided Drowzee was part Fairy. We had to wear special colored gloves to operate our powers which involved being connected with our Pokémon and also flying. And we had to hop across large mushrooms that had human names.

That's the simplified explanation.

i had a dream last night that my apartment building had recently hired Lahey and Randy from Trailer Park Boys in maintenance and I happened to run into them in the courtyard. Lahey seemed to be in a foul mood. (not unusual for him)

Just last night, had a Doctor Who dream.

Clara was driving the TARDIS. TARDIS seems to be catering somewhat to Clara's taste in decorating these days. New companion on board, The Captain, dressed in green victorian-esque velvet suit and top hat, slick mustache and beard, maybe somewhat steampunkish?

Clara is not very good at driving the TARDIS. Ends up under water. TARDIS stops working for some reason. Clara decides to swim for help. She comes to the surface, trapped under ice. Above her is a richly appointed room built on metal screen on the ice. Ice is thin (inch or two thick) but somehow supports the room.

A man, blonde, average looking, sees her and chops a hole big enough to blow air to her (dream logic, this can be done easily with the mouth to the small ice hole) but he needs to exit room and go in from the side to rescue her. Man brings her to owner of room, a sort of dark circus ringmaster in all black, with long wavy black hair and a cane, played by Neil Gaiman. Room includes lighted bar and many luxurious decorations.

NG turns Clara into a statue, coated in a sort of plastic. She appears dressed in victorian type dress, dark rich colors, with wings at her neck and back. Man who saved her from ice tries to argue for her freedom, but NG is his boss.

Doctor and Captain appear without explanation, but before they can help, Clara breaks out of her prison by herself, astonishing NG and his crew/followers/ as no one should be able to do that. Clara, Doctor, Captain and blonde guy leave, probably with awesome words said by one or all...

This thread just made me remember the dream from last night I was TRYING to remember earlier - I was Fox Mulder, in an episode of XF I clearly had never seen before (despite being Mulder, even in the dream I went "I don't remember this episode...") that involved him having been thrown back in time to his high school days, and there was some kind of demon stalking him during a winter formal dance. I found great satisfaction in fooling the thing by darting from the relative safety of the crowd through the deserted halls into empty classrooms - and occasionally darting out one door and then darting right back in as the thing came zooming past, so I could switch directions. End goal was to get out of the haunted school and to my car in the parking lot so I could escape home, but I woke up before that happened.
