Keep making them? Join fanmix places on Tumblr and LJ? I know LJ had a few fanmix comms. I see fanmixs on my Tumblr dash as well, so people are out there making them. One might catch on, you never know :)

I don't have much confidence in my fanfic, fanart, or reviews. What I'd really like to be known for in my fandoms are my FANMIXES.

Picture unrelated, but KK is a cool dude who does musical things so... tangentially related?

Am I missing something?

Isn’t a fanmix just a set songs that are supposed to be evocative of a show or pairing or fic or something? Is there more to it? Do people actually do their own covers or arrangements of the songs?

Oh, I get it. I only ever planned fanmixes, but if I do any and publish it, I'd like it to have a real impact on the few people that gave it a chance, not only to listen and think "oh, nice" and go on. I mean --I know it sounds stupid-- but I'd like to bring on feelings about the subject I'm fanmixing on the people that listen to it.
