I don't have much confidence in my fanfic, fanart, or reviews. What I'd really like to be known for in my fandoms are my FANMIXES.

Not secret: I despise Eren/Levi and its shippers...

Secret: My problem isn't the two being Out of Character or the age difference, but it's the... PREVALENCE of the ship in fanwork. I wanna watch funny Shingeki No Kyojin vids on YouTube? Eren/Levi! I wanna read some good ol' genfic? Eren/Levi!! Well, okay, I'll just browse for and find some random awesome fanart and hopefully there won't... EREN/LEVI!!!!!!!

Secret because: "laughing out loud, anon, just scroll past it" "you're just butthurt cuz it ain't your shipz" haha true but I still hate this shit pairing, not sorry~~~~

I hate, hate, hate it when I read fic from this fandom (or others like it) and people use their own name for the player character. When there is a default name, use it!

Secret because "I can do what I want with my fic and when the game gives you the opportunity to name the character you should be allowed to do it in the fic too." blah, blah, blah

I wish more shippy fic would elaborate on how good the clothes look. Fic writers seem to only care about the characters' ~*expressive blue eyes*~ or their gorgeous nekkid body, and I really want clothing porn (especially in period pieces).

I wish people wouldn't make characters participate in fanfic/fanart social events when they wouldn't canonically do.

It's ridiculous, but whenever I reread "Charles Augustus Milverton," I feel a little disappointed that Holmes and Watson didn't eventually end up sharing the same cell. It's such a weirdly romantic (in an Anne Shirley way, not a sexy couple way) idea.

It bothers me so much when people genderswap female characters. I have no issue when people genderswap male characters. It irks me so much! I don't even really know why. (This is mostly because some people on Tumblr are genderswapping Annie from The Hunger Games, ugh.)

It really makes me uncomfortable that a character like Levi of Shingeki no Kyojin has this massive fanbase that almost completely dominates everything else in the fandom. Not that I am surprised (he fits the formula fangirls drool over) but it's just become an annoyance to me that not even Tumblr Savior can push over the rug and out of my sight.

He is half of the three most popular shippings (Ereri, Eruri, Levihan) that completely overshadow any other shippings and it's mostly smut or portraying Levi as this seductive, horny sex fiend. At least that's all I see of these pairings filtered over to my corners of fandom, I don't go looking for it.

It's either that or essays about Levi writing thousands of words in his defense on how he is some kind of tragic hero. And I kinda hate the anime for trying to paint him that way when in the manga he is just a grumpy guy whose seen a lot of shit. Definitely not this sentimental soul who hides behind a cold exterior his fans make him out to be.

I'm not a prude who doesn't like Not Safe For Work nor is there anything about his character that intrinsically bothers me. It's just the fact that I do not see him the way his fandom sees him and I'm forced to see him as a tragic hero sex fiend who always has rough hate sex with Erwin and loves to make Eren his uke (ugh). The fact that you can't even look at Eren or Hanji fanart without Levi all up in their business eighty percent of the time is beyond annoying. [annoyed face emoticon]
