Well, I thought of that too, but it occurred to me that they're probably talking about all the fic where a character gets raped, and falls in HAPPY FLUFFY LOVE with their rapist, that didn't involve any sort of psychological breaking, or any capture or torture other than the initial and unrelated rape. Because it took me a minute to recall that I'd seen stuff like that.

God, bad fic is like... proof that humanity sucks or something. It's like fanfic is in a contest with politics to see which can make me lose all faith in humanity faster

I will never get how anyone could pair anyone with Muraki in a fluffy way.

I was thinking of some fluffy Muraki/Hisoka I found once, but yeah, that too. Many a time did I click the back button and flee from the HAPPY FLUFFY RAPE LOVE. Because apparently rape can mean I love you and want to share the rest of my life with you!

I'd always imagined the only way Hisoka could become besotted with Muraki in a fluffy way is if Muraki royally mindfucked him so that he wasn't really Hisoka anymore, but Generic Uke Doll With Green Eyes and Blond Hair.

And yet, I adore Fujimi Orchestra :(
