Secret 1 - My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

Sometimes I wish the fandom of this show wasn't so HUGE. I wish it was still the same small size that it was when I was a young girl. Maybe then there wouldn't be so much in me that screamed shame for still enjoying it.

Secret because the worst part is I really love a lot of the people in this fandom, it's just that I'm so paranoid about what I enjoy that in the end, it's my own fault.

I don't get the relation between huge fandom and feeling ashamed of enjoying the show. Wouldn't the fact that so many people enjoy the show make it less shameful?


Though of course there's nothing shameful about liking a kid's show as an adult anyway.

it sounds like you'd have this problem with any large fandom. Your going to have to figure out why that is.

I bet the fandom for the classic series is still undeservedly small, so you could participate in that and not experience the same shame, maybe?
