Not Secret: This is my favorite album. I love story songs so much, and the whole thing is a giant story.

Secret: As much as I love the ENTIRE album, I rarely listen past Part III. It's not because I hate the ending, but because I honestly believe it ended with Part III. I don't believe he (spoilers) died in the final part of the CD. I think he died in Part III, when he was killed by the explosion of his machine. Part IV and the very ending of Part III were in his head. Either he dreamed them up to cope with not being able to save her, or it was put into his mind by the owners of the voices at the end of Part III. I don't believe it actually happened, and somehow I feel like that's a sweeter, better ending than him getting into the car with her and dying that way.

Bonus Secret: Despite loving the main story, Save Our City (the only song not technically part of his story) is my favorite.

Bonus Bonus Secret: It's a great album to listen to when it's 2:30 am, you have insomnia, and your upstairs neighbors are having sex and you want to drown it out.

i wish this cd had a long music video to go with the story. i always thought morning in may was real and imagined at the end as they're dying in the car crash you see them walking away together on the beach ("maybe someday you will find me on that beach beside you again") but then the proverbial camera pans out and there are also pterodactyls and things quietly flying everywhere and dinosaurs in the background because actually they're all dead ok i've thought about this a lot more than i realized oops

I love this album so much and to see others that love it too makes me so happy. Blasting Save Our City while driving home late at night is one of my favorite things to do.

OP, I really have nothing to say to this secret other than how much I love you for submitting a Ludo secret.

I love Ludo and Broken Bride makes me cry, though I prefer to read it with the ending in Part IV.

But yeah, good on you OP for having excellent taste. You keep on rocking.

(The ending of Save Our City is one of the best things to hear at the end of a long run for that last burst of energy.)
