I love Samurai Flamenco too and follow the fandom somewhat, but I lack the inspiration to do anything in it yet. What don't you like about the fandom?

The certain corner that is very focused on think the worse and that refuses to acknowledge that, hey, even if the show took a darker twist than expected, it isn't the evilest thing made ever.

See: the rape theories last week, the complains about Mari storyline being unforgivable because it's an insult to women, etc.

It would just be so nice to find anywhere to talk about the fandom without all that *sigh*

Oh, those. I was pretty turned off by those rants too. I always hate it when people tell you that a female character getting roughed/chained up is obviously a cue for you to assume she's been raped is or going to be (i.e. you're naive and a misogynist if you decide not to look at it that way and take offense... okay then). But at least on tumblr I only saw it from a few people who said they were quitting the show, and so far I'm just being hopeful they keep to their word.

Yeah, those. The "maybe Konno got raped too" comments weren't any better.
Sadly I saw some of those same people commenting on this week's episode (with more complains and threats of really quitting this time) so...
