Spoilers for Night Vale 35

(Anonymous) 2013-12-14 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Night Vale episode 35, actually. I really like Night Vale as a rule, but episode 35 - Lazy Day - was pretty uninspired to begin with, and then it went and ruined the joke from the Pyramid episode. As far as I was concerned, the whole reason the Pyramid episode was so funny was the absurdity of Cecil's thought process. "Giant telepathic pyramid --> viral marketing campaign for cereal!" But apparently it was a viral marketing campaign from the cereal company? That's... not nearly as funny.

Well, okay, and I really don't like the Faceless Old Woman Who Lives In Your House; I wish they hadn't introduced her. I mean, I love the idea, but she sounds like she's about 20, not an old woman, and she just sort of natters on with no real point; it irritates me whenever she comes on.
