The only thing missing in that picture is the teacup.

True fans will know what I'm talking about.

Secret 12 - The Simpsons, The X-Files

[personal profile] transcriptanon 2013-12-15 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[Picture is FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully from the TV series "The X-Files", as they appeared in the animated series "The Simpsons". They are standing outside on a suburban street and presenting themselves, showing their identifications; Scully's looks normal, but Mulder's has a picture of himself in dark underwear and posing sexily below the identification card. They both stand there looking perfectly serious.]

I'd happily trade the last fifteen seasons of The Simpsons for a spin-off series of this.

I bring you love.

If they keep the first seasons humor, then yes.

[personal profile] brooms 2013-12-15 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
omg trading games!! let's.

i'd happily trade the last 3 seasons of the x-file and iwtb for an x-file movie written by vince gilligan.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-15 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
IA except I want to keep the part of IWTB where they had bedtime canoodling stuff. That was pretty much the only part of that film I actually like, sob sob.
brooms: (tissues)

[personal profile] brooms 2013-12-15 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
i'd want to keep the bed canoodling stuff, too! and woe, it makes the trading game a little tougher trying to keep it because i don't think it was the sort of scene gilligan would write if he had full creative control of the script.

SOLUTION: chris carter gives gilligan carte blanche with the script as long as vince's willing to write in either the bed canoodling scene or the rowing in vancouver scene. suddenly it's cake or death!

I'd trade the last fifteen seasons of The Simpsons for a slap in the face. A spin-off series of the X-Files episode would just be a nice bonus.

Yup, I would watch that. (Probably my favourite Simpsons episode)

(Anonymous) 2013-12-16 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
MEEE TOOOOOO!!!!!!

One of the most fun Simpsons episodes ever, and also one of the best episodes of The X-Files!

(Anonymous) 2013-12-16 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
What a fantastic secret! I wholeheartedly agree with you!

(Anonymous) 2013-12-16 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
LOVE that episode! Huge X-Files fan And I second/third whatever the idea of Vince Gilligan writing the next movie. AND THERE'D BETTER BE A THIRD MOVIE. But no mytharc crap. A funny MOTW ep. With the Lone Gunmen.
