I'm guessing this is an American snow storm? We've already had a few in Canada. Temps in the -40°C as well. SO. DAMN. COLD.

On the East Coast, I'm guessing? Here in Vancouver it snowed for only a day. After that, we've just had drizzly rain, same as usual.

Central. Rain and Vancouver are bosom buddies. When I lived there, I swear it rained more than I saw sunshine.

Yeah I'm in the middle of the eastern mess/portion of this right now, and I would still prefer this to the endless rain/fog/mud-everywhere that was the Island/Lower Mainland. Hated BC. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

I do like BC, but it's so expensive and I hated the never ending rain (driving at night was HORRIBLE. The rain + shitty drivers was the worst), but the cold here can really get to me. No matter where you live, there's always drawbacks.

Barely. Lots of layers and many grumblings about not wanting to leave home. I miss warmer climates.
