I started drinking it like that when I had a cold and wanted something with at least a flavor of vitamin C. I had some lemons, squeezed them, added water, heated on the stove slowly with honey to taste. It was pretty good.

In a pinch, I've used powdered lemonade, too, or even TANG mixed with hot water, because I don't always have fresh fruit available.

I think the fresh lemon or even lemon juice with honey probably tastes better than powdered drinks, but I understand.

Yeah, I can buy a lot of powdered drink for the few cups I can make with the equivalent price of lemons.

I haven't tried using lemon concentrate, though; I might do that next time.
