I make coffee the normal way, but with a bit less actual coffee in the cup. Then I use cream/half-n-half with double the amount of proscribed peppermint hot chocolate mix to make a bit over my usual amount of the cream I use in my coffee. I strain it to take out the chocolate chunks/grainy bits, put that into the coffee, my normal amount of sugar, and voila! A Winter Abomination. :D

It is! Especially if I have whipped cream around, in which I put a bunch of that on top with a sprinkle of the hot chocolate mix on it.
