Re: Recs for a Dan Brown fan?
(Anonymous) 2013-12-16 10:27 am (UTC)(link)* Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston's Agent Pendergast novels, starting with The Relic. It's sort of crime/thriller/supernatural with interesting bits about New York and the NY Museum of Natural History.
* Interred With Their Bones (also titled The Shakespeare Curse in the UK) by Jennifer Lee Carrell, another thriller that's about a conspiracy concerning the authorship of Shakespeare's plays.
* The Italian Secretary, by Caleb Carr. It's Sherlock Holmes pastiche about the murder of Rizzio during Mary Queen of Scots' reign, plus a possible threat against Queen Victoria.
