Re: How's Everyone?

My options are only endless if I had those things in my cupboards or access to a store. :( I've been munching on jello and applesauce, but that's about it as far as foods available to me atm. I should have a car by tomorrow though, and you can bet I will be buying all of the smoothie ingredients I can. And maybe some pudding cups now that you've mentioned it.

Ouch, no transport sucks, dude. Also get rice pudding, it's a bit healthier and bulkier but just as easy to eat. Hmm, if your grocery store has soups in tetra paks (like the juice packs, only bigger) see if you can find Gardennay brand. They taste pretty good (you can doctor them up if need be), are pureed, but still "hearty" and aren't nearly as salty as the can-o-soup horrors that lurk on the shelves.

Also! Granola (hear me out) 1/2 cup of the mix to 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of water -- microwave on high until it's mush. (Usually about 3min.) Just make sure not to get the kind that has a lot of nuts in it.

Since it's the season for it, get a carton of eggnog, too. Extra protein, no chewing. Extra sugar, but eh, what can you do. (Try to find "light" or "diabetic" eggnog if you can, or if you don't care about sugar, go with the regular stuff.)

Steamed cauliflower is also good, though you will have to cook it longer than normal. (Serve with cheese sauce for extra protein.) Mashed potatoes, as well. Sweet potatoes and/or yams are best for this. Lots of garlic and ginger, to help stave off infection.

Hmm, what else? Frozen juice concentrate! The cans are great to hold up against a swollen jaw, then you can crack that baby open and eat it with a spoon for cheapskate's sorbet. Get real orange juice or real lemonade concentrate, extra vitamin C, etc.

Yeah, so, I've always had dental problems (bad meds when I was small), I can go on all night LOL. I hope some of these suggestions help!
