my English final was so bad I actually wrote "Dear Lord" on the test. yikes.

there were ten short stories and ten poems for the fiction and poetry units of the test. we had to fill in a blank with the author of every single one of them. he never mentioned that specifically knowing the authors would be important (he didn't tell us what was on the test at all, actually), so...yeah. I knew maybe two or three.

ETA that yes it is my fault that I didn't diligently study author names. but I probably wouldn't have even thought to memorize them without warning even if I had had more time to study (I had my psych final right before the english one, and I've done considerably worse in psych, so...).
