How did he ruin John?

Just those...little moments where suddenly Moffat's douchery breaks through the layers of characterization to rear it's ugly head in weird OOC moments.

He didn't really "ruin" him in the sense of doing some big thing that wrecked his character. He just keeps erratically undermining him here and there enough to make it annoying. John would be fine if Moffat just stopped writing.
