I haven't actually searched out fic for the show so I didn't know there was human!Perry fic (but it doesn't surprise me) but I love the relationship Doof and Perry have the way they are. The adversarial but supportive frenemy thing just really works for them, especially because Perry is a platypus and can't talk.

This is one of my favorite things from the show: "Can you do this, Perry the Platypus? Can you jump really fast, up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down? Yeah, that's it, Perry the Platypus! Doesn't it feel good? Let's be jumping buddies. Let's just eat dessert and jump up and down and up and down and up and down all day. It'll be our thing. Just remember: I-I invented this. Because I am the inventor." I just want all their fic to be like that.
