Yes, I agree, though unfortunately doms overstepping boundaries, and raping subs, is something that does happen in the BDSM community, all under the belief that it's "fantasy". The doms (and dommes) can be hard to pick. It makes me very nervous as a sub. Rape culture is so pervasive and subtle that a fantasy of raping can pick up some IRL beliefs subconsciously quite easily. But there are totally some lovely people out there with fantasies about raping who are wise and warm enough to not fall for the crap.

If that seems impossible or skeevy to anyone, that's what bdsm kinks are, they are pleasurable power games, and ostensibly fundamentally consensual, the suspension of disbelief by common consent (so not "rape").
