I'm so sad that crackvan's closing. It's one of the last bits of fandom contact I have left on lj and is a constant source of such great stories that I'd never even think to look for otherwise. :(((

And, yeah, it would be the best compliment to have something recced there. I feel ya, anon.

There needs to be made a mirror of this site in some way. That's one worthy archive and it would be such a waste if it disappeared. ;_;

Not deleting. :) The mod has promised that it'll stay there forever as a fandom resource, just without any new reccing happening.

I feel bad that I didn't know it was still active. It went through a long dry spell a couple years ago and I thought it had died back then :(
