Wait a minute...

Is it possible Moffat is the Master, and his new plan is to trap the Doctor in a labyrinth of never-ending plot twists from which there is no escape?!

No. No it isn't. I'm pretty sure the 'Five-ish Doctors' portrayal of Moffat is closer to the truth.

See? This is what I'm saying, here he goes and turns humanity into mass murderers of an alien race that has always been around, and now all of a sudden, "Theeeeeey're baaaaaaaaack!" So just forget everything Moffat ever wrote (Actually, that's a good idea, let's all do that, it might be easier, in the long view of things.) and here are the Silence again "B/c they were so so popular so I'll DO IT AGAIN!" Does he think the only people watching the show are imbeciles?? Wait, don't answer that.

And I suppose the explanation for the survival of the SIlence is just as stupid and waving a get-out-of-jail-free card from his Monopoly board game as is par for the course...
