Well, after the hell that Will has been put through, I want him to have someone stable. Alana is the best fit.

Hannibal is like a cat batting a toy and Will is that toy. Oh, Hannibal may love that toy but if another more interesting toy comes along, I can see Hannibal dropping Will like a hot potato and going for that.
