I missed the Mishapocalyse but I hear people talking about it with fear. It's like The Noodle Incident of tumblr (one of many). What happened?

Basically someone found this really creepy candid photo of Misha Collins staring deadpan directly at the camera (I'm sure you can find multiple examples if you Google Mishapocalypse) and proposed that his Minions should all change their Tumblr icon to that image for April Fool's Day. They did, but a bunch of people also started photoshopping the same image into other pictures and spammed the site with a deluge of them on Apr. 1.

I just thought it was one of those things that happens from time to time when people get a bit carried away with a joke, and it had pretty much stopped by the next day, but apparently some people who don't like Misha felt they wer being "bullied" or somesuch and there was a fair bit of wank about it.
