Or if you have other suggestions. (I also should go to the store, but I'd be OK if I didn't, and I ought to do laundry before it gets too late and I get paranoid about keeping my neighbors awake.

Go do the laundry and then go sit somewhere that you usually don't and chill and watch some TV of some kind.

Also I totally feel you wrt this whole dilemma.
