There's a bigger safe-space bubble than here. The Mark Does Stuff side group is literally instituting trigger warnings for spiders, snakes, and dogs in wigs (among rape, abuse anxiety and other nastiness).

Something to do with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, IDEK. And there's actual discussion about whether a warning should be for whether or not there should be a breakdown in case somebody is bad with spiders but might be okay with other insects, or if it's OK to lump them all under "bugs."

JFC that place. The squee can be good, but it also seems like a padded room sometimes.

OK, seriously, it's rude to badmouth another place. Maybe they're a little overly cautious over there, but it's in the name of making a community that values feeling safe over feeling mildly inconvenienced or annoyed.

Err... I think you're taking probably one troll's comments to represent the whole? I don't think most people are overly sensitive here, people pretty much hate SJWs.

I see people saying they disagree with the remark (rape jokes) but aren't getting out their pitchforks. I see one troll, well, trolling. If that's the thread you're talking about anyway.
