What's your favourite snow-day activity?

IT used to be snowball fights, but now that I am old and dull I like staying in and drinking hot chocolate while thinking SUCK IT, COLD WEATHER

Depends on the type of snow. Walking in the woods during a nice fluffy bright snow day is really lovely. Particularly so if I'm the first on the trails.

If it's a dreary grey wet snow or an icy snow my favorite activity is to stay bundled up inside nice and warm.

Does wearing my handknits count? The novelty still hasn't worn off for me. I love when it gets cold and I can wear all the cute stuff I made for winter.

I share your sentiments precisely. Drink hot and sweet drinks and burrow up.

Stay indoors and wrap myself in a cocoon of comforters. But keep the shades open so I can watch the winter wonder show outside.

Favourite snow activity though would be walking up the downs near my home town, there is a really nice forest that on the slope, and you can see for miles at the top.
Also it was a filming location for 1984, little nerd fact

I've only seen snow like three times and it is usually gone by noon.

The first year it snowed enough to stick, it was Christmas eve and I was home alone because my brothers stayed with my grandparents and my dad was with his girlfriend, I think. In the morning I got up to take the dog out and I made a baby snowman (because there was like only an inch or two) on the car with three of those little colored marshmallows for a mouth and pecans for eyes. That was fun.

If there is internet, being on the internet and lamenting the snow. If there is not, reading a book and lamenting the snow.

+1 this was me today. And trying to access my work mail. :-P

I liked snow! Then I moved to Oklahoma.

Sleeping. Interspersed with eating if I'm feeling adventurous.

In some of the more remote rural areas in my part of the world, that's how some of the smaller communities get their mail and groceries in.

You know I've yet to actually ride on a snowmobile. There is a snow mobile path that goes right through my land and I live in a town where people would ride their snow mobiles to school, and yet somehow I grew up without actually getting on one. It's almost impressive.

Touching snow is something on my to-do list when I'm able to travel.

Oh man, I love walking in the woods when it's snowing. It's so quiet and beautiful. ;3; If I'm not doing that, then I'm parked in front of my computer, wrapped up in a blanket, and drinking hot chocolate or coffee.

...man, I hope we get snow this yar. ._.

Staring at it like it comes from another planet, I assume. I've never been in snow. The last time it snowed in my neck of the woods was 3 days after I was born (so almost 25 years ago). My dad woke up my mom to have her come and look at it, 3 days after she had a C-section, AND SHE THANKED HIM. Snow is a mysterious thing that happens to other people.

Snow here is so rare, I used to love RPing in That One Comm, when it was winter- The Admin was Mexican, so she was from the Northern Hemisphere - Thus, when we South Americans were dying from the heat, imagining our characters playing in the snow was so damn fun.

Driving. No, really. Somewhere where there are not a lot of other drivers, so I can just go at what is a safe speed for my vehicle and not worry about what other people are doing or what they think I'm doing, and listen to good gaming soundtracks while driving through the gorgeous snowfall. Airship themes from RPGs are especially good, and overworld themes.

I also really like taking a hot bath, and being all nice and steamy warm while looking out the window at the snow falling.

I wouldn't really know, but making snowmen and things look fun. I wouldn't mind trying that one day.

My favorite thing to do when it snows is be somewhere else.
