Today's my estranged brother's birthday. *watches another year tick by* Happy birthday, you damn jerk.

We're not estranged exactly (though I don't remember the last time I spoke to him) but this was pretty much how I reacted to my brother's last birthday too.

We should have a party and talk about our asshole siblings. Like my asshole brother who probably won't wish me a Happy Birthday, even though I wished him one and doesn't talk to me anymore.

I brought the booze.

I, too, have this issue. However. I do not drink. SO I will be the designated driver!

Gimme one of those bottles. I don't have estranged brothers, but my mother has been Gothel-like lately (as the cycle goes, she'll get over it, we'll have some weeks of peace, and then Shit Will Happen again.)

My estranged older brother is an diagnosed narcissistic abusive dick. His b-day was on the 5th.

I celebrate that he is out of my life.

I talk to exactly one of my half-siblings. My half-sister is cool and we get along but all the kids from my dad's previous marriage can go to hell. They're rude to my mom and only call to ask for money.

My Step/Adopted (his father adopted me when he married my mom), hasn't spoken to me and my mom for six years. Hurts my mom more than me. Not like she raised him, supported him or anything even after his father cheated on her and took off to live with his 'new' family.

I also am estranged from family members. They haven't even tried to stalk me across the face of the earth in the last couple of years...so I'm terrified one (or more nonononononono last time it was a twofer) of them will turn up like a bad penny, any day now. :-(

I have no way of contacting two of my brothers... I would honestly be happier if I knew them and we had a falling out over being their big sister only in title and barely that as one of them don't know about me at all and the other probably forgot me.

Huh my bro too but he's not so estranged anymore. *tips a glass*

Yeah, I've practically disowned by sister so no christmas wishes for her. Now I just need to deal with my asshole uncle because he's flying in for this christmas. >:(

I feel similarly about my estranged sister, except that the greeting goes "Happy birthday, you damn bully. And that goes for your husband, too."
