Ozai's Angels was pretty strong. Ty Lee and Mai were friends at least.

I thought about them but they're not really what I think of when I think of a strong friendship. We don't see them interacting very much. Though I do like when Ty Lee sides with Mai against Azula.

They don't get a lot of screentime, but you know the Kyoshi warriors have an everlasting bond *u*

I want a spin-off series about Ty Lee's time with the Kyoshi warriors. And Mai can visit her and we can actually see their friendship more.

I would argue that Ty Lee and Mai must have been really good friends. I mean. Ty Lee's betrayal. And I don't know, Toph and Katara got a whole episode dedicated to their friendship.

I think the friendship that got the most focus was Aang and Zuko because Aang is the main character so all his relationships are kind of important, and Zuko's friendship represented something in the grand scheme of things.

I wouldn't give ATLA a A+++++ in the Female Friendship category, but I don't think it dropped the ball at all.

That 'friend' was mentally unstable. You remember when Azula set the net under Ty Lee on fire in the circus? Those are not the actions of a friend.
