I want them to 'kill' Coulson for every season and mid-season finale. Yes, I know that's very silly and destroys all tension. I still think it would be the best running theme ever.

Coulson semi-dies and it makes May experience emotions, Coulson semi-dies and Ward confesses his love, Coulson semi-dies and Skye confesses that he's her father, Coulson semi-dies and FitzSimmons clone him.

Not sure what it would do to my personal "drink every time Coulson casually drops his death into conversation" game though. Maybe less drinking because it would become old hat the more it happens to him to the point where it doesn't need saying.

So that'll be two semi-deaths, mid season finale of S1 and S1 and series finale. Seriously, why is this still on? They are having to invent all new viewing metrics just to justify it now. The audience is now basically just Joss Whedon and whatever barefoot waif he's got chained to his couch.
