It wouldn't matter if the Doctor didn't tell her that, it doesn't change the fact that she still would've been under immense pressure from her council to either provide an heir or name an heir from her eligible relatives. Just like her father Henry VIII was. Because having a solid successor in place was for the good of the stability of the country and nobody wants to be plunged into another war of succession.

Also, I doubt very much that anyone told Elizabeth that her ONLY place is to have a baby. It was considered one of her important duties (as it is for every sovereign, male or female), yes, but that's not ALL she was expected to do. I suspect you don't actually know very much about Tudor history, right? The fact that she was a woman didn't mean she got to lie around all day eating bon-bons while men told her what to do. The role of women (especially a queen!) back then was a lot more complicated than the black-and-white sexism you're imagining.
