10 - You want to be used and broken? Christ, why? I've been in an abusive relationship myself and I don't know what you're exactly picturing yourself of it, but it's not romantic or fun or passionate or something grand. It breaks you, yeah, and then you can spend quite some time healing again. But if you're a masochist, please do. Have fun with the tension and aggression of an abusive relationship. I'm probably taking this too serious, but it always pisses me off when people say "I want to be broken" as if it's some kind of wonderful, romantic, awesome thing. It's NOT, and when it happens, we can see your whiny emo posts on LJ secret: "My boyfriend abused me but I still looo~oove him, I don't know what to do without him".

Oh, and if the poster of this secret is who I think it is...this certainly changes my opinion of you.

It's not entirely impossible that they're interested in BDSM but too afraid to admit it.

I mean, I can understand why it would annoy you and I don't think you're taking it too seriously at all, but there is more than one possibility here. I've been an abusive relationship before too and it was horrible, I'd never wish something like that on even my worst enemy - but that and BDSM are very different things, and if that's what they're referring to then I'd say go for it because it's actually very fun and fulfilling to devote your life to someone else like that.

Belive me, my idea of broken is nothing along the lines of an abusive relationship. I've been in abusive relationships, and in no way do I want to go back there. It's just there is a certain draw to the dynamic between Yami no Bakura and Bakura Ryou that I find alluring. And this isn't the stereotypical Bakura beats Ryou fandom cliche bullshit.

I believe myself to be of strong enough mind to not allow myself in a relationship of that kind. Especially when I tend to make fun of the very whiny emo posts you speak of. The type of relationship I'm talking about is difficult to convey in simple terms and is more on a subconscious, mental level than anything surface wise. You have to remember that in the YGO canon, Bakura and Ryou share a soul, and that is a lot more profound in terms of having a relationship than most people could possibly perceive.
