I follow a lot of people on tumblr who seem to like that look too but personally I think people look kind of silly when they're smoking. I've been hearing my whole life that it looks cool but I just don't get it.

I never understood the 'it looks cool' thing either.. It looks like someone sucking on a lollipop to me and that has zero cool points in my book :p.

I would prefer the lollipop photoshoots, to be honest. I've seen some good ones.

Sometimes it can look cool, if it fits the pose and the person and adds something to the feel and composition of the photo. But when there's just a cigarette dangling out of the subject's mouth like the photo in the secret, it looks sloppy and unappealing. I am not attracted to people who look like they're so stoned/half asleep/bored that they've forgotten there's something in their mouth.

It's people sucking on a phallic object. I mean, maybe other people (who like it) have other reasons they like the way it looks, but that's why I like it.
