Seriously, we already have about 1/2 inch of ice on everything and it is supposed to rain/sleet/ice until tomorrow (forecast for 2-3 inches).

My sister and I braved the storm to go shopping. We had to scrape ice off (in the rain) every time we got back in the car while shopping. But now we are not leaving the house until Monday.

What is the weather like in your neck of the woods?

It's raining here too and it's supposed to be almost 60 degrees tomorrow. In December in upstate NY! This is not right. I don't want all the snow to melt before Christmas. Plus I hate when it all melts and then freezes overnight. I hate ice so much.

There were almost 6 inches of snow yesterday, now all melted with a promise of sunset at 4:15... not frightful, just dreary!

It's not doing much atm, just a bit of misty rain, but we're supposed to get a huge ice storm. I went out today to finish up holiday shopping and omg everyone in the state apparently had the same idea. It was awful. Ice is supposed to start tonight and overnight and into tomorrow. I think right now the predictions are about .75 inches of ice. Generator is ready to go!

It's been snowing off and on here. I need to shovel again, but I really can't summon the energy when I know more snow will come. I'll be snowed in. It's cool. I'm done my Christmas shopping and have enough food to last past Christmas.

Just raining, and slightly above freezing. Darnit. We have a winter storm watch in effect - I was hoping for some blizzard. Or an ice storm. Or at least snow. I have a nice comfy new waterbed mattress that arrived and was filled yesterday, from which to watch interesting weather through the window while staying nice and warm.

Starting to warm up a little, actually. The internet tells me it's currently 49F out (not sure how much I believe that, but I haven't gone out today), and it's supposed to hit 62F tomorrow. It's also supposed to rain all weekend, so. :|

It's been raining, and it's just 32, so there's ice on all the trees. Which is very pretty! But. The last three days were in the mid-fifties, so the roads and ground are warm enough, the roads aren't skating rinks. Yet. I don't hold out hope for tomorrow, and the sun's going down, so.....

Really cloudy and cold. I don't know if it's going to snow or not. Yesterday it was snowing on and off but the snow was really light.

It's 60F and sunny, which is a little above average but not by much. It rained on Wednesday though. But not exactly frightful!

We have been baking a fuckton of holiday cookies. Mmmm, cookies! I'll be taking some to a birthday party tomorrow (for megalomaniageek, if anyone remembers her from F!S LJ days).

Intermittent boughts of rain mixed with wind, so the usual for this time of year. We only start to get snow in January typically.

I'm in Wyoming, and it's cold and windy. Not as much snow as I expected, but the way it keeps getting blown everywhere kinda makes up for that. Before that I was in Nebraska, which was sunny but COLD AS BALLS. Can't wait till I get down through Vegas and experience some above-freezing temps!
