I don't know if Hitler is accurate (although he's definitely genocidal), but I just don't find his character interesting or likable at all. I hate that he's the main character, because I'd much rather have followed Mikasa and Armin while Eren stayed out of the picture. Now that they come in a group, though, I pretty much do nothing involving any of the three. :/

But that wouldn't work since Mikasa wouldn't be a character without Eren in the picture... or she'd have to be a completely different character.

You mean, a character with her own motivations and desires, instead of just orbiting around another character? Yeah, she'd be a totally different person.

Honestly I find the main trio the most uninteresting of the lot. Armin is sorta okay and I'm interested in seeing where his character arc is going, but I find nearly every other character more entertaining and emotive.

Which pisses me off, because so many of those other characters are treated like comic relief and nothing more.
