I've been trying to stay optimistic about series 3, but there are so many ways an adaptation of Milverton can go wrong.

Yeah, there's just so many nuances and both morally and emotionally ambiguous moments in it. BBC Sherlock can do some things well, but "nuance" isn't one of them.
