Sorry nonny, you googled Silent Bob's actor. Jay's actor is the being discussed. I'm guessing we should feel sorry for him because he had a pretty nasty drug habit which ended up leading to him fucking over a lot of people, including Kevin Smith who let him stay in his home to help him get back on his feet. In return, Mewes stole from him and and had several unsuccessful rehab stints. They were estranged for years until they finally rekindled their friendship when Mewes got sober. Smith even created a podcast and had Mewes appear on it weekly so they could talk about, among other things, his addiction to help him stay sober which was actually pretty sweet.
