Pester, pester, pester your doctor. Every single time you go to see them.

Then again, I only know two people who has had them, one is my mother, who had hers a couple of years after I was born (good thing too, they found afterwards she was in the early stages head towards cancer), and one a friend of Mum's a few years ago who had constant bleeding problems.

Aussie doctors like to hedge their bets and only do it if the situation is really bad and all other solutions have failed.
