Yes. The more I hear about it, the more it seems a last, desperate rallying cry for the Determined To Be Disgruntled.

(And honestly, at the moment there are far more interesting and outrageous gender and race-related things going on in Great Britain than an actor who chose his words poorly. If that's what you're focused on, you need to get your priorities sorted.)

No I'm not ignoring it, it was in poor taste and rape jokes are a big no no, anyone who tells them in front of me gets a bollocking. However it reads more like a stupid train of thought that ran out of control then a deliberate attempt to offend.
