I feel you :( On a related note, videogames in Europe are often like that, with the difference that when they're not region-locked sometimes you can import them from the US and there's a chance that the final price will not even be that inflated; when they ARE region-locked, though, you often have to wait for months for them to be available while you're missing out on the fandom, and when they finally get out prices are often directly translated from dollars to euro, so 60 dollars is 60 euro which is actually more than 80 dollars and you often have to wait some more that prices go down and by then the fandom is dead and...

The unfairness of things being released at different times around the world :(
