I felt this way too at first but someone pointed out to me that this was more about how 'Let it Go' can be interpreted as a coming out song (and it doesn't hurt that it's sung by Idina Menzel). But imo it's still reaching a bit and not really enough for me to say "WOW, Disney is so supportive of gay people!" I'll be impressed when it's not subtext.

That's really reaching, yeah, though in that sense it's a nice sentiment. The 'queer-friendly' comment I saw was specifically referring to shipping the sisters. I mean, if for some reason Disney had intended that it'd be like shooting themselves in the foot, because if there's something moral guardians would disapprove more than lesbians it would be incestual lesbians.

Yeaaaaah, they're just wrong in that case. And probably not gay, but I don't wanna get into psychoanalyzing them.
