Believe me, I definitely give credit to the mods for the difficult (and probably often thankless) task of coordinating and running an exchange, and I'm not blaming them for the delay in my gratification. I'm just one of those people who posts a fic and then hovers over my Works page, refreshing every half hour (or less) to see if I have any new kudos or comments - and having to wait days or weeks for the first trickle of attention is hard, even if it's necessary from the mods' end.
