Recently I submitted a secret I felt very strongly about. I think it was 2-3 submission posts ago. I haven't seen it posted yet, but I'm not sure if I should ask if it's been posted or not because I don't want people thinking poorly of me for asking.

I just want to see if others agreed with me and if maybe I'm not the only person who feels the way I do about the series.

Just check the archives on the week it was supposed to be posted and if it wasn't, post it again. It's that easy.

If you can't find it just go to the top and politely ask Case. Or resubmit it with a note saying you submitted it but didn't see it anywhere and were worried it was overlooked?

Pretty much my reaction, tbh. Like, does OP know how to internet? It can't be that hard to hit the back button a few times to check a few weeks in the archive.

I've searched through the past few months a couple different times trying to find it, but I can't. It was one of those spur-of-the-moment-pour-your-heart-out secrets, and it would be difficult to recreate the whole secret. I don't know why it wasn't posted, since I definitely submitted it and it definitely wasn't too big or anything. It was like my first secret I ever submitted, this is my second.

I always save my secrets in a folder on my desktop just in case (and for the lolz later). Did you check the failbars? The best you can do is try to recreate it. You can make the secret stronger, better, likely less tl;dr.

Yeah, I checked the bar, but it wasn't there. I probably should save my secrets if I make anymore in the future. And it was rather wordy.

Ask us anon??? If you are afraid of people who have no idea who you are forming opinions about you, submitting anonymous confessions is something you should probably avoid?

I probably am a bit too emotionally sensitive, sorry. It was about the IDW Transformers comics and how upset I am with what they did with Arcee, who has always been my favorite character, and how I suspect the writers might be sexist for not being able to comprehend female robots as just being a thing and instead having to make them tortured abominations, and I was hoping that maybe I wasn't the only one disappointed with what the writers did to her.

oh I understand the sensitivity. I was always a lurker, I just get more anxious about submitting secrets than I do about commenting anon!

I always skim past transformers secrets, but hopefully someone can help you :)

Have you tried googling transformers + fandomsecrets? That might help narrow down which days transformers were mentioned.

Also, ask Case if you aren't sure if you're secret hasn't been posted. If it's not up during its time frame, there is no harm in asking. You can always ask users/anons in GC as well. I have a bad memory for secrets being posted, but some people here have awesome memories and recall them.

only works if they were mentioned. fandom isn't always posted alongside the secret (though it'd be nice if that were a constant)

It also comes up if people mentioned the word transformers in the comments as well. Replies pop up on google. It's not the biggest wealth of info, but it's more info than naught.

That's not it, mine was a bit smaller and didn't really focus on any characters who aren't Arcee, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one upset about the comic.

Well, based on this I can tell you it did not show up in the regular post, I definitely would have remembered it. Might have been a broken link or something.

Re: your actual secret, Yyou are definitely not alone! I've seen tons of complaints about how Arcee was handled, it's a pretty sideeye-worthy subject.

If you still have it saved anywhere on your computer, you could try using a reverse image search like Tineye or http://www.google.com/imghp - FS doesn't block search engines, so if your picture isn't too overly popular you might be able to track it down.

Also, you don't have to go off anon to message

case about it; just drop a message on the comments and concerns post.
