Feel free, I'm not saying it's not objectionable. I'm just saying it's tiring as hell. I can't bring myself to care about every single infraction, I'd burn out in a day. To be honest the backlash that's come from the fans of the show towards LGBT+ people (despite us not having anything to do with A&E's decision) is about a million and a half times worse than usual hick drivel, so I wish everyone had just rolled their eyes and moved on. It's exhausting.

Fair enough. I don't expect everyone to do it, I just don't like people telling me to stop when I do have the energy for it.

As another queer woman, I do agree. If it had been one thing where he said something stupid it actually wouldn't have bugged me. People say and believe stupid shit all the time, and I've actually heard worse directed at me.

It just gets me that so many people are rallying around this because his ~free speech~ actually kind of confuses and, with the level and the fact their directing it at people who've nothing to do with the decision, horrifies me.
