Hi there. I remember your reasonable posts from ONTD_Political. I check that community every now and then -- it seems to have really gone into decline and not much is posted there any more. In its heyday, there seemed to be a dozen or more posts a day. Now it seems like there just 2 or 3 posts a day (if even that many).

OMG it's been years and people still remember me :D

I've checked back once or twice, and long with less posts, the people there seem to have mellowed out a bit, generally just going off-topic or devolving into lots of tangents, though that was quite a while back when I last checked.

Me thinks the bulk of them disseminated out into Tumblr.

Yeah, most of the people I knew on Livejournal have gone over to Tumblr although a few have recently come back. I miss the discussions that used to occur on Livejournal (and similar blogging sites).

It's why I keep up the energy here. F!S is the only non-fic fandom I have time for, these days (I haven't been on Tumblr or LJ in ages), so I try to keep things lively here. Never sure if it works but increasingly I find that my reputation precedes me. o.O Hoping to jump back into LJ, soon - I have been hearing that people are coming back to journal sites more and more (especially around kinkmemes and such) so I'm hoping that this is an upward trend. :)

I remember you! I'd wondered where you'd gone, until I saw you here on F!S.

I do think that things have settled somewhat. It's not nearly as hair trigger as it used to be. I mean, I remember the whole post where people were going on about how bisexual women were traitors to women, and that they should choose political lesbianism because patriarchy. Or the post in which people were defending the dad who shot his daughter's laptop (that she purchased herself, with her own saved money). I haven't seen ANYTHING like that in -- well, quite a long time.

FWIW, I miss your comments there. You were one of the folks I always looked forward to seeing what you had to say. :)
