If you have nothing to fall back on then you need to stay in your shitty job and look for a new one, otherwise you could end up homeless. But if you have a safety net I'd say take the chance with your trip. Your language skills will definitely improve from immersion although it will be harder if you don't study, obviously.

Definitely try and find something that makes you happier because you sound like you're not enjoying life.
