Secret 2 - Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

The relaunch novels disappoint me because they are doing everything they can to keep this pair apart after Odo left the Great Link. Boo. Odo/Kira is my Star Trek drug!}

I agree OP. I liked some of the ideas of the relaunch (connecting those aliens from that one Next Gen episode to the Trill was pretty cool, and I liked them bringing in Ro), but this bugged me too.

Off topic, but I love that a Deep Space Nine secret showed up today - I just started watching this series on Netflix for the first time this morning, and Odo is already my favorite character. :)

Kira and Odo was the only Star Trek couple I was ever invested in. They're perfect.

That sucks but I think if you wait it out they'll eventually come around again.

I haven't read the relaunch novels, but honestly, I think the Kira/Odo storyline ended in a perfect way on the show and I don't want to see them together again. That storyline ran its course and it I thought their break-up was beautiful.

Having Odo leave The Great Link is just one of the many reasons why the novels aren't for me.

Yeah, this is one reason I stopped reading the books. I am still mad at Odo for not going off, heading the Founders, then COMING BACK.
