heck yes silver foxes. I have yet to recover from my years watching O'Neill on SG1 and Gibbs on NCIS.

The new Doctor isn't to my taste, but I don't think he's UGLY. PAt Troughton is still my favourite Doctor, and while he was a stunner in his youth he was pretty well on in years when he was on the show, and if anything it just made him better at playing the character.

PEople who've only watched the reboot are spoiled, is all, by all those pretty young modern Doctors. XD

I am attracted to silver foxes with blue eyes. I find them all to be incredibly sexy and I'd seriously fuck them if I had the chance.

TBH anyone who judges an actor cast as the Doctor based on how ugly or attractive they are is just wrong. Even if Capaldi was ugly, which I don't think he is, is that really going to be your sole criterion here?

So true, this sort of stuff really bugs me, it's the same kind of people who moaned about John Hurt playing the Doctor because he's "just an ugly old man." I'm really hoping that Peter Capaldi has a long run (not just because I think that he's a perfect choice for the Doctor and a brilliant actor, but also in the hopes that it will drive away the more shallow fangirls/boys).

Not my thing, but I think judging a Doctor by their attractiveness is completely missing the point. I personally don't find any of the Doctors attractive except maybe Eight. I don't want to date him, I just want to travel with him and see the universe.

I admit I was taken aback when Capaldi was chosen as the Doctor (Mainly because I thought they were gonna go hot young man route) But I saw some of Capaldi's stuff like in the Thick of It and I thought immediately this guy is going to nail it. Not only that hes got a nice face for an older guy and his scottish accent is incrediably sexy. So I agree I wish people looked beyond the face and think hey! Hes gonna rock it.

On an irrelevant side note.....this secret came up on the perfect occasion. Considering we get the first glimpse of Capaldi's Doctor tomorrow! I am SO excited.

I too think Capaldi is hella fine! I'm looking forward to enjoying his attractiveness as the Doctor. I was shallowly happy that they cast someone I think is hot as the Doctor-- I wouldn't have been mad if they hadn't, but it never hurts to have something nice to look at!

I am 14 and was not on my own computer at the time I made the secret. I had to use what I had on a thumb drive. They are all very attractive men and wish I could've had a huge collage. Alas, I didn't have time to image search and slapped this together before the nasty old librarian could chase me off the computer that I wasn't supposed to be using in the first place. :)

I'm familiar with Peter Capaldi's work and that is why I'm so glad he'll be on DW. He is good looking and has acting chops to go with it. That is not to say none of the other fellows were bad Doctors, on the contrary, having an older man in NuWho is a nice change of scenery.

Yes a thousand times to Peter Capaldi, although I hope they let him keep his hair in its natural curly state. It suits the Doctor's character.

Hate the term "silver fox" but totally agree with the sentiment. Capaldi's actually the first Doctor since Eccelston that I've found attractive going into the role (Tennant and Smith both won me over, but I didn't find either of them all that hot before I saw them in action). Then again, my criteria for casting is "can he (or she) convincingly portray a weird time-travelling alien?" not "is he (or she) hot?" Both is just a bonus.

You must be really young OP, Peter Capaldi is only 53! If he'd had a child at 20 who then had a child at 20, you would be about 13.

Anyhow apart from that, he's not old, or ugly. He's probably also the best actor they've had, at least since Chris Eccleston.
