(Anonymous) 2013-12-26 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)You sound like a much more generous and forgiving person than I am; I can see how an abusive parent might work to become a decent human being, but not how one can be a decent human being while being an abusive parent.
And of course an abusive person has feelings too! The thing that separates someone like that from someone like you is that to an abusive person, only their feelings matter.
