I did get the message. It was very sweet!

I will probably not really be active on f!s again until the school year starts up again. It's just kinda part of my routine then, and there's so much to do at home. My classes start January 6th. Hopefully I'll be able to get online more but no promises, since I'm also trying to get in good study habits from the get-go for my last semester...

And about not being in F!S, that's completely understandable, dearie. You enjoy your break! Pity you have to do so much at home, but it still counts as a vacation, isn't it? Don't worry, I'll just be happy to see you whenever you are able to get online. I wish you luck on your improvement of your study habits ^^

Super late response due to annual family Christmas shenanigans, but OMG I AM SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT.

Although I must say, every single time I saw you post in a thread about your lack of progress on your own gift I wanted to comment with "DON'T FEEL BAD. I AM NOT AT ALL DONE WITH YOURS EITHER. DDDDDD:". Seriously though, I spent like the first nine of our ten allotted days coming up with the basic premise of what I wanted to do (Rose and Kanaya try sexting. Dave bursts in halfway through.), the tenth writing the first half, the next four days of the overtime promising Case I'd get it done, and Christmas Eve itself finishing the actual thing. So totally peas in the same pod.

And all the while I was like "OMG I'VE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. I'VE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING 'SEXIER' THAN... FUCK, I'VE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING SEXY AT ALL. OMG WRITING IT OUT LIKE THIS IS MAKING IT EVEN LESS SEXY. WHAT IS MY LIFE?" It kept flipping between comedy and Kanaya angsty times and balancing Dave the Douche with Dave the Now That Was Too Douchey, but yeah. Based on your reaction, I think I did okay. <3

As for posting it, I've been thinking of making an Ao3 account for awhile and since Homestuck has the biggest collection there, now is a good time. I'll let you know if/when I do!
