To my Secret Santa: Merlin/Lancelot? Outsider POV? WHY, IS IT CHRISTMAS ALREADY?!

I LOVE IT! Merlin/Lancelot is actually my favourite Merlin pairing, and the whole thing being from Gwaine's view is just the icing on the cake. Matchmaking Gwaine is the best. And I love your character voices. ("Sir Gwaine, the honorable Finisher of Fights and Tavern Connoisseur" LET ME LOVE YOU, SECRET SANTA!)

And there's a magic reveal! <333

If you want to post the fic somewhere that's absolutely fine with me. The world needs more Lancelot/Merlin, after all. And more Gwaine, but that goes without saying. ;)

This was the longest fic I've written and my first Merlin BBC fic (I started writing before I even finished watching the show, heh) and I'm so so so so happy that you liked it!

The world totally needs more Merlin/Lancelot and Gwaine (I was lamenting lack of Gwaine fic the other day). I was super happy with your prompts because this was actually something I wanted to write, though I didn't quite know it until I saw what you were interested in. Outsider POV is my fave too.

Ha, now I feel all proud for being the reason for your first Merlin fic. *preen* (I haven't actually finished the show, either. I'm stopped watching early season 5. Knowing what's going to happen is such a downer I just can't make myself watch anymore. What happened to the dorky show from season 1 and 2? D:)

I'm glad you could work with my prompts, I was afraid I was being waaaaay too specific with the pairings and things. When I signed up I thought I'd be a little more detailed so whoever got me would have some idea what I liked, but when I saw that my giftee was basically "everything's fine, write whatever you want!" I was afraid that I was being much too restrictive. :( So I'm really relieved that my prompts worked for you! <3

I do have an AO3 account! It's hwc, just like here. Does AO3 tell me if a fic is posted where I'm marked as a gift recipient? I'd like to comment over there as well. :)
